Begin your Flores overland tour by picking up service at hotel or the airport in Ende or Maumere (Ende is recommended starting point) then drive to Moni village. En-route will stop at several viewpoints for taking pictures and visit traditional village. Check-in at hotel in Moni village. Be ready to wake up early to catch a beautiful sunrise at Mt Kelimutu lake three colour.
Day 02. Moni Village – Kelimutu lake three-colour – Wologai village – Ende – Riung (B/L)
Early morning wake up and driving up to Mt. Kelimutu lake three colour which the most interesting place to visit. Enjoy soft trekking to Kelimutu summit to witness the most amazing three coloured lake and its landscape surroundings. Afterwards, walking down back to the parking area for the drive back to the hotel. After breakfast, check out then heading to traditional market Ndua Ria. Continue to visit Wologai traditional village. Late afternoon to Blue stone beach via Ende before continue to Riung northern coast of Flores. Several stops on the way to Riung and overnight there.
In the morning, transfer to the harbour to catch a local wooden boat trip to go to Kalong island. You will witness thousands of fruit bats flying out of mangrove tree. Continue to Bako/Tembang and Tiga island for snorkelling spot. BBQ lunch will serve on the beach while enjoying the wind and the sea. At the afternoon, transfer back to the hotel in Riung.
Day 04. Riung – So’a hot spring – Bajawa (B)
After check out, drive up Bajawa and stop at to So’a hot spring (you can take bath there). In the afternoon visit, the local market in Bajawa then transfer to hotel for overnight.
Day 5. Bajawa Countryside Tour (B)
Today, we will trek to Wawo Muda volcano. Continue to visit the unique traditional village of Luba and Bena village as a part of the Ngada tribe. Afternoon, heading to natural hot spring of Mala Nage to take a bath. Back to the hotel.
Day06. Bajawa – Aimere village – Borong – Ruteng (B/L)
After check out, drive to Aimere village to see the traditional process of local alcohol drink from palm juice. Heading to Rana Mese lake to see the beautiful panorama of the lake. In the afternoon visit Liang Bua Flores hobbit cave. On the way back, we stop to take a picture of the stunning view of rice fields. Drop to hotel for rest and relax.
Day 7. Ruteng – Lodok Cancar (spider’s web Rice Fields)- Narang – Denge – Wae Rebo village (B/L)
Early breakfast at hotel then drive to Cancar to see “The Lodok” the ground rice fields that look like a giant spider’s web. Going to the south coast via Narang village and heading to Denge village. We will start trekking up for 3 hours to an impressive and unique traditional village of Wae Rebo. Lunch box will be provided. Dinner and overnight at Wae Rebo village.
Day 8. Wae Rebo – Denge village – Narang village – Lembor village – Labuan Bajo (B/L)
Simple breakfast at Wae Rebo village – see and enjoy the village, by interacting with the local community. You can learn about their way of life and their unique culture. Trek down back to Denge village then drive to Labuan Bajo. Lunch will be served in Denge or Dintor village. Overnight at hotel in Labuan Bajo.
Day9. Labuan Bajo – Kelor Island – Rinca Island –Kalong Rinca Island (B/L/D)
Now, we start for sea adventure. Transfer to the harbour to catch a local boat to start your Komodo tour. We go to Kelor island or Majerite to snorkel/swim/relax. Heading to Rinca Island for trekking to see Komodo dragon and other wildlife. Get back to the boat then sailing to Kalong Island to see thousands of Fruit bats flying out of mangrove tree. Lunch/Dinner will be served on the boat. Accommodation is on the boat.
Day 10. Rinca Island – Padar Island – Pink Beach – Komodo Island (B/L/D)
Sailing to Padar island. Taking breakfast on the boat, while seeing a beautiful sunrise. Take a morning trekking to the top of Padar island. Enjoy the stunning scenery around Komodo National Park. Get back to the boat, then sailing to Pink Beach to snorkelling/relax/swim. Finally, we go to Komodo Island, trekking there to see Komodo dragon and other wild-life. Lunch, Dinner and overnight on boat.
Day11. Taka Makasar – Manta Point – Siaba island – Kanawa Island – Labuan Bajo (B/L)
Enjoy the sunrise while breakfast. Sailing to Manta point to see the huge Manta ray fish by snorkelling (No guarantee, if you are lucky you can see them). Boat depart to Siaba island for snorkelling (if you are lucky, you can see turtles here). Heading to Kanawa island to snorkel/swim/relax. Lunch will be served on the boat. Back to Labuan Bajo’ harbour to transfer to airport for next destination or hotel in Labuan Bajo for overnight.
