Benoa Port Overview

Benoa Port is one of the ports in Bali, which is very strategically located and close to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. The location of this port is south of Denpasar City and is a place for international cruise ships and other trading ships to rest. Furthermore, this port has been operating since 1924 and is currently growing. The Indonesian government continues to improve this port facility so that it is ready to accept the arrival of foreign tourists using world-class cruise ships. The development of Benoa Harbor is based on Balinese local wisdom and is environmentally friendly. We can see this when we enter the port area and find a building with Balinese nuances. The government uses this port for loading and unloading ships for domestic and international trades—meanwhile, the other part is for cruise ship docking. Benoa port is accessed by two nautical miles long channels and completed by two berths east and south. The length of these berths is 290 meters, and the depth is 11 m 00 LWS. The South Berth is an alternative one. It has a -7 m 00 LWS depth, which is 206 m long.
