Bali Catholic Wedding Package Procession

Catholic-style marriage is a sacred wedding ceremony with a series of processes that must be followed. This departs from the Marriage Preparation Course which will take around 3 days. Also, the bride and groom take this course 6 months before the blessing ceremony. Also, they can make some preparations at one of the Catholic churches. The material from the course revolves around self-recognition, economics, sex, family life, and future planning. After that, you will get a certificate that you bring to the church when registering your marriage.

Document Requirements

The following document requirements will support the process of Catholic Wedding in Bali. You must prepare all the documents so that the blessing ceremony runs smoothly.

Indonesian Citizen Documents

• Copy of ID / KTP / Passport
• Birth certificate
• Divorce certificate (if applicable)
• Death certificate (if applicable)
• Letter N1-N4 (Surat Nikah)
• Baptismal certificates that are reissued no later than 6 months and minimum of 3 months before your wedding date.
• Letters of freedom issued by your Parish Priest or other church officials. This letter states that you have never been married and are therefore free to marry through the Catholic Church.
• All pre-nuptial inquiries have been signed and stamped by your Parish Priest or other church authorities.
• A letter of delegation addressed to the Catholic Church in Bali. This letter states that your own parish does not object to your wedding ceremony carried out by a Pastor from the Catholic Church in Bali.
• Copy of pre-marriage course certificate

Non-Indonesian Citizen Document

• Copy of valid Passport.
• Birth certificate.
• Divorce certificate (if applicable).
• Death certificate (if applicable).
• Certificate of No Impediment (CNI) – you get this CNI at your embassy or consulate in Indonesia.
• Baptismal certificates that are reissued no later than 6 months and minimum of 3 months before your wedding date.
• Letters of freedom issued by your Parish Priest or other church officials. This letter states that you have never been married and are therefore free to marry through the Catholic Church.

Additional Documents requirements for Bride and Groom

• Copy of detail passport of your two witnesses.
• 4×6 photo (passport size) with the bride’s position together. Its size is just the head and shoulders visible and staring straight ahead. Please remember that the photos will be attached to your marriage certificate. For that, you have to make it as best you can.
